INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY(ICT) TRAINING WORKSHOP
On 11th -12th January 2023, Major General prof. assist. Hing Kong represented Lieutenant General prof. assist. Nim Mealea director of the Health Science Institute of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces welcomed Professor Bostjan and Patrick expert ICT from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, as well as teachers of the Health Science Institute of RCAF that participated in the workshop on Information and communications technology (ICT). On this occasion, He has addressed that I am honored to be part of the meaningful event which is to support talent development and skill our teachers by providing resources essential for ICT skills. Cambodia, as well as the world, has accelerated toward digital technology, and ICT skills play a significant role in the country’s development. As an educational institute, we think to nurture young digital talent to their full potential is to have a supportive ecosystem that requires all stakeholders to participate and share their resources. Thus, by joining this workshop teachers can join and build up their skills to excel in this institute. So as a teacher at our institute, please take this opportunity. Finally, He appreciates prof. Bostjan and Patrick for coming to share knowledge and vast experience about ICT especially the 4steps projects(the healthy babies, healthy families, and healthy nations) that were supported by the EU to make this workshop happen.
On this occasion, prof. Bostjan expressed that he was excited to share knowledge and experience about ICT skills because it is an important part element that can transition traditional learning to competencies-based education.
